Chameleons Vox show + MUOTD 13

Yesterday was the Chameleons Vox concert in Portugal, in a place kinda in the middle of nowhere but not that far from Lisbon.
The show was completely free entrance because it was a part of a fair/carnival that was going on on that little town, which was pretty random :D The fair was filled with terrible and tacky popular music, carroussels, bliking lights everywhere and all the fried food you can imagine. It was pretty hilarious to see the confused looks on the locals to see so many goths hangin around. The vast majority were unaware of the Chameleons existence.

For some reason I never take photos of the shows, at the time I'm too spaced out enjoying them, so I never have actually photos of the events to share :D

Well, have some pictures of my makeup for that nigh.

MUOTD 12 with Speed Tutorial

Wore this dramatic B&W look for a friend's birthday party ^^

I wanted to test my camera's video quality, so I decided to record myself while doing the make-up, The camera actually has pretty good quality, but it looks like crap in here, I really have to play with the settings some more and learn to master a good video editing software. I'm currently using Pinnacle Studio.. not sure it it's the best one.

And after watching the video I realized that I really should have done the right eye first, but heck.. it was just my first attempt.

For a next video I'm thinking about making a tutorial for my purple hair, the dye I use is actually self-made ^^

MUOTD 11 - Glitz Glam

 

My look for the SBSR festival. Neutral lips and full glitery eyes.

My hair has a life of it's own, when I want to make it curly, it NEVER works, it only holds up the curls for 2/3 hours max, specially if done with a curling iron, but lately, if I go to bed with my hair slightly wet, BAM! Instant messy curls the next day, that last for a long time :D

MUOTD 9 - Casual Doll

My "casual" doll look :D Probably not so casual for some,  but for me a more "costumy" doll makeup would be full blown drama. Buttom lashes were drawn with a really thin brush and gel eyeliner, it's an awesome alternative to fake eyelashes, if you have a steady hand and the right brush.Works perfectly with the dolly look.

Btw, I'm not really THAT pale, but my webcam really washes me out!

MUOTD 8 - Makeup for the DCD show

 This last Tuesday I was lucky enough to be able to see Dead Can Dance live for the first time ^^ The concert was absolutely beautiful and this was the makeup I wore

This was a pic taken when I arrived home, I was freakin overwhelmed by the show and in a moment of pure joy I made my sexiest pose

And tomorrow night I'll be seeing Peter Murphy with his Mr. Moonlight Tour! Awesome week for me uh? :D

MUOTD 7 - Fiery makeup + Malice necklace

My super bright red makeup I wore the other day ^^ Next time I'll probably pick a black lipstick instead.

I also wore my Malice necklace, self made, including the "Malice" picture, of course. It has a little glass vial with a mysterious red liquid inside and it says "drink me" :)

MUOTD 6 - Starry night Makeup

Went to the club last Friday and this was the sparkly look I wore ^^ I used only one item for pretty much the whole look, my Kryolan purple cream pot which I'm completely in love with. Kryolan is one of my fav make-up brands, it has super affordable products, CRUELTY FREE, and they are super multi-functional! I can use the same cream pot as an eyeliner, eyeshadow, blush, lipstick and even to do my eyebrows! :D And you can mix it with water for an even stronger color and slightly different shade ^^

I'll do another post with the different ways you can use this product, cause it's defenitly worth it ^^

For this look I only had to throw some sparkles on it to "fairy" it up ^^ The gem in my forehead was glued with glitter-glue (not the best one, I admit) I was almost sure I was going to lose it in the club, but I didn't ^^ Well.. it fell once, but I was lucky enough to find it, even if it was pitch-black.

MUOTD 5 - Black black heart makeup

First makeup look of 2013 ^^

B&W eye - powder eyeshadow on top of cream eyeshadow to create a whiter white and a blacker black. Eyeliner and natural fluffy lashes. 

For the lips - greyish purple lipstick on top and bottom corners smudged to the middle. And of course, to finish it of, for a whimsical look you just have to draw some little hearts or dots or bats or spiderwebs... uuuh, I'll be doing some of those for the next posts ^^

MUOTD 4 - Dark Sailormoon Inspired Makeup

Argh, haven't posted anything for awhile! Altough I have been drawing almost non stop everytime I get some free time, so that's a good reason for neglecting my blog ^^

I'll just update with some crappy webcam shots of my makeup today.

And here's an extra of me discovering new uses for my plugs - pencil holders, of course! When you're drawing it comes pretty handy, the back of your ear only holds one :D

MUOTD 1 - Sunset makeup + replying to comments

Makeup I used to do often when I had my old hair, I think it matched perfectly ^^ Lately I haven't dolled up much so I have to post old pics D: And I've been feeling ill for this past couple of days, so at the moment I'm lookin like a mess :(

I've also wanted to clarify, that for some unfamiliar reason to me, my blog doesn't have a "reply to comment" button, so although I appreciate all the comments made, I can't answer them. So, thank you for the people who have been commenting! I'm not rude I promise, teehee :D
